Revelation of the Father’s Heart–1

10/08/2010

Well, maybe it might seem a “bit too soon” to start talking about being a mommy & daddy, but already the Lord is giving us revelation about the way He sees us, and we want to share some of these as encouragements.

God does not see our weaknesses, and He celebrates our successes.
All day long, all I’ve been able to think about were the successes Malachi had.  The little movements he made toward a ball, or watching him follow our hands.  I didn’t think once about his limitations or “where he should be” for a 2 year old.  We are the same in His eyes.

  1. So true! You care choosing to love Malachi for who he is NOW, not who me might be 6 months, a year, or 10 years from now. You are meeting him where he’s at, and moving forward from here, accepting whatever comes your way. God says we can start each day anew, a fresh chapter, and move forward. He accepts our mistakes, and asks us to try harder next time. A blessing you have been given, in Malachi. He’s going to teach you things you never knew you needed to learn.

  2. Hey, thanks for dropping by and leaving a comment! Now I know you’re in country now with Malachi! I’ll have to read and catch up later, but we’re praying all is well there!

  3. Hope this works for you…tried to send a youtube video from Lee-Ellen: God’s Plan

    • Hi Joy! Thank you for this video–so wonderful! How did you hear about this lady? Blessings,
      Nate

  4. How the “you tube” blessed both Darrell and I! We continue to support you with our prayers and will be praying for Malachi’s health. He is definitely PRECIOUS

  5. It is most definitely not “too soon” to start talking about being his mommy and daddy… you started being his mommy and daddy when you committed to him many months ago! And he is SO lucky to have you both as his parents 🙂

  6. Thank you God, thank you God, thank you God. You are so Holy. Praise you Jesus for all your wonderful blessings. You are so loving and giving. Thank you Jesus for your abundant love.

    Amen
